EYESHA's story began with Dr. Aeesha Malik, whose journey in paediatric ophthalmology sparked her vision for global change. Dr. Malik dedicated her life to children's eye health.

Throughout her career, Dr. Malik witnessed firsthand the profound impact timely eye care could have on children's lives. Her experiences working in underserved communities across Africa, Asia, and beyond deeply shaped her perspective. She saw the incredible potential for change through community-based interventions and innovative technology. Driven by these powerful experiences, Dr. Malik founded EYESHA, bringing together a dedicated team committed to the belief that no child should suffer from preventable blindness. Today, EYESHA continues to expand this vision, ensuring children everywhere receive the eye care they desperately need, creating brighter futures around the world.
